Recentemente modernizada com as mais recentes tecnologias de exibição, a sala do Grande Auditório da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian vai voltar a exibir cinema numa base regular. O regresso das sessões a este espaço faz-se com um ciclo de cinema seleccionado por João Mário Grilo dedicado à comédia, que reúne obras clássicas de cineastas como Chaplin, Keaton, Bergman, Scorcese, Fellini ou Woody Allen. As exibições inauguram-se no dia 1 de Dezembro com o filme A Quimera do Riso (Sullivan’s Travels), de Preston Sturges, que terá entrada livre, e prosseguem ao longo dos próximos meses de acordo com o seguinte programa:
